Brief description of the project:
The objective of the project is to increase the efficiency of production and competitiveness of the company Ing. Vladimír Karlík - STROJÁREŇ by purchasing of innovative machinery.
Specific objectives:
acquisition of new technology for technically demanding production of rotary, flat and shaped components
creation of a new work position as a metal tooler
Initial level:
The company Ing. Vladimír Karlík - STROJÁREŇ was established by trade licence in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Trades Licensing Act in 1999. The main subject of enterprise is currently custom engineering production. It is a technically challenging production of replacement parts, special parts and measuring devices. These products of the company are primarily supplied to engineering and automotive industries, but they are also supplied to graphic-arts, chemical, food processing, agricultural and military industry. The customers of our production are companies located in territory of Slovakia, but advantageous geographical position nearly Czech Republic and Austria presents an opportunity for the company to penetrate into markets of these countries. Machinery and technical equipment ensures a strong position in the market for the company. It enables not only the production of tools, but also the production of replacement parts whereas neighbouring companies are focusing only on one of these activities. Presently, it is observed that customers are trying to reduce the time of fixed inventory in stock to a minimum and therefore they are still requiring more frequent supplies. For this reason, it is necessary for the company to get technology, which enables to shorten production times and also produce new types of components with required quality and accuracy in order to keep the competitiveness and to strengthen the market position.
Status and realization of the project:
After completion of the project, the activities of the company will lead to fulfillment of target setting which is improving of the production efficiency, shortening of production times, expansion of product portfolio, product parameters impoving and better satisfaction of customer´s requirements. By means of Non-repayable financial contribution, the company plans to purchase new technology, which is an innovative CNC Lathe. This machinery is going to be used for production of rotary, flat and shaped components. Some of them are already being manufactured by the company, but regarding to growing demands of customers, there is a need for provision of new technology to achieve shortening of production times. By means of new technology, new products will be manufactured that are splined shafts and carbide restraints. The copmany is not able to manufacture them by current technology at desired prices. Thanks to the expansion of product portfolio and increase efficiency of production, the company will be able to better supply its customers and at the same time there will be created a potential to acquire new customers of company production. This project will also create a new work positon (machinist) for an applicant to 29 years.
